Little Vox is a macOS application that helps parents create personalized audiobooks for children on Yoto players. It is developed and operated as a sole-proprietor product.

2.1 Account holders (parents / purchasers)

2.2 Narrators (grandparents, family members who record stories)
When a parent creates a recording invitation and shares the link, the narrator visits a web page to record audio. We collect:

We do not collect the narrator's IP address, device type, or any identifying information beyond the name provided by the parent. We do not store any data about the child by name on our servers.
2.3 Yoto account data
When you connect your Yoto account, Little Vox stores your Yoto authentication tokens locally on your device. These tokens are never transmitted to our servers. Yoto API requests are made directly from your device to Yoto's servers.
2.4 Crash reporting (Sentry)
Crash reports are sent to Sentry only if you have configured a Sentry DSN. In the default distribution no DSN is set, so no crash data is transmitted. If enabled, reports include stack traces, app version, and OS version — no personal identifiers.
2.5 Internet Archive browsing
The Audiobook Mode includes a built-in browser for the Internet Archive. Browsing activity in that panel is subject to the Internet Archive's own privacy policy. Little Vox does not log or store your search queries.
- We do not use advertising trackers or analytics SDKs.
- We do not collect your location.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for marketing purposes.
- We do not collect data about children directly. Child names entered in the app stay on your local device only.

All data in transit uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. Local storage uses macOS safeStorage encryption where the platform supports it.

You may request at any time:
- Access — a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — update inaccurate information.
- Deletion — remove your data from our systems (see §8 for scope and limitations).
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@littlevox.pro with the subject line "Data Request." We will respond within 30 days.
California (CCPA) residents
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Contact us at the email above to exercise your rights.
Server-side data: Upon a verified deletion request, we will delete your Vercel Blob sessions, your Keygen license record, and your Resend contact record within 30 days. We cannot delete Stripe purchase records that are subject to financial record-keeping requirements.
Local device data: All data stored on your Mac — preferences, session history, Yoto tokens, and audio files saved to your Documents folder — is on your device and under your control. We have no access to it. You can delete it at any time by removing the app's data directory or uninstalling Little Vox.
Narrator data: If you recorded audio via a shared link and wish to have it deleted, ask the parent who shared the link to delete the session in the app, or email support@littlevox.pro with the token URL from the link you received. We will delete the associated data within 30 days.
Although Little Vox is a US product, we respect the rights of EEA and UK users under the GDPR and UK GDPR. In addition to the rights in §7, you have the right to:
- Restrict processing — ask us to limit how we use your data.
- Object to processing — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Lodge a complaint — with your local supervisory authority.
Our legal basis for processing purchase-related data is contract performance. Our legal basis for processing narrator data is legitimate interests (delivering the service the parent requested).

Little Vox is designed for use by parents and adult family members. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Child names entered in the app are stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted to our servers.
If you believe a child's information has been collected in error, contact us at support@littlevox.pro and we will delete it promptly.
We will post any material changes to this policy at littlevox.pro/privacy and update the effective date. Continued use of Little Vox after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
